I was blessed to have been raised in a Christian home by God fearing parents. I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't believe and love Jesus, as the gospel was taught to me before I could walk and talk.
Though I loved the Lord as a child, it wasn't until I was an adult that my heart really learned how to worship the Father and Son through the Holy Spirit, knowing that this gospel truly is my only hope. As the Lord has progressively revealed His beauty, goodness and mercy to me, my greatest joy in life has become to worship my savior, Jesus Christ. I long for the day when He returns to gather His church to Himself and restore all things.
Looking back, I recognize that God has placed countless people in my life who have pointed me to the Lord and His glory, revealing and reminding me of the hope we have in Christ. Fellow travelers on the path of faith: parents, friends, ministers.
As an elder of Redeemer Church, my prayer is that I too will be faithful to point others to the Lord, reminding them of the hope we have in Christ.
I am married to Lindsey (Molly) Taylor, and we have 4 children, Piper, Violet, Levi and Heidi.
