Jim and Liz have been married for 36 years. They live in an historic home in Denton, Texas next to TWU campus where Liz is professor of Dental Hygiene. They have 3 adult children John, James, and Missy; and one grandchild Matthew.
In the 1970's and 1980's Jim worked in the commercial real estate industry in Houston and Dallas. He also owned a moving copy in his hometown of Wichita Falls. However, in the 1990's he was asked to go on a Mission Trip with his church which ended up radically changing the direction of his life. God called him into full-time vocational ministry and since the 1990's he has worked for missions ministries like GMF and E3, the Mosaic Global Network, The Navigators, The Village Church, and BroomTree International. Jim is also a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary.
In addition to serving as an Elder at Redeemer Church he oversees our missions efforts. Currently Redeemer Church is serving in Haiti and is exploring other opportunities domestically and in Africa.
