As a kid I always felt there was God. The concept of God made sense to me but I really only acknowledged this at Christmas and at Easter. Not until my junior year in college at a Young Life camp did God truly become personal to me. That summer, Jesus revealed His saving grace to me and I fully accepted this gracious calling in my life.
Through the years, the Lord has continued to show me how to live life well; as I travel the path He has placed before me. I have traveled this path weak, fearful, anxious, depressed, selfish, and rebellious. But God has always been there alongside me showing me a way to joy, acceptance, strength, forgiveness, and transformation.
I am blessed to be married to an amazing man for 19 years that makes me laugh at least once every single day. Earl and I met at Baylor where I graduated in 1997 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Our children, Hannah (17), Jack (15) and Abby (11), keep us very busy and we wouldn’t trade it for anything! Our family proudly calls Redeemer our church home where I truly love to serve and support those who lead the congregation so well.
