BAPTISM TESTIMONY | ABIGAIL GASSER

On Sunday, March 27th, we celebrated the miraculous work of the Lord at a Baptism Service at Redeemer. These services are a sweet reminder of what the Lord has done in the life of each follower of Jesus. The testimony below is from Abigail Gasser.

Before Jesus saved me, I was a sinner. I came to trust Jesus one evening when Mommy brought me into my sister's room. We talked about God's grace and how Jesus loves everyone even though we are sinners. I was sad because I kept messing up and getting in trouble. Grace means being given something we don't deserve. I knew I needed God's grace so I prayed and asked for forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died and paid for my sins. After trusting Jesus, I am forgiven!

A verse I like to remember when I'm frustrated is James 1:19-20, "You must be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires." I like this verse because it reminds me not to get angry about small things. Even though I'm a Christian I still mess up some times, but I know God will keep forgiving me.

I am getting baptized today because I want to show everyone, I believe Jesus is real and died for my sins.
