How much is camp?
Dwell 2027 will cost $400 per student.

How do I save my student’s spot?
A $75 non-refundable deposit is required with the registration form in order to reserve your student’s spot. Deposits can be transferred to another camper if you end up needing to release your spot.

Will we be able to fundraise?
Yes! Currently we are planning our annual Chili Cook-off and several Parents’ Night Outs for students to participate in. Funds collected from each fundraiser and will be divided out to only campers who participate.

How long is the bus ride?
Typically, the bus ride to Dwell will take us about 9-10 hours, with a stop for lunch.

Do you stop at all on the way?
Yes for lunch. The bus is equipped with a restroom (similar to an airplane restroom). We stop in Amarillo for about a 45min -1 hour for a lunch break.

Does my student need money while at camp?
Yes. Students need money for our lunch stops on travel days. We also suggest money for camp as Glorieta has concessions, a coffee shop, and  gift shop.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
“Cabins” are dorm style buildings. Boys and girls are in completely separate buildings and often on opposite sides of the camp.  Each room on a floor is a “cabin”. In general our group takes one whole floor with each room being a “cabin” for our students. Each “cabin” has its own bathroom.

What’s the weather like in Glorieta?
In June, highs tend to be in the 80’s-90’s with lows in the 50’s-60’s. Some students bring hoodies for the evenings.

Are there theme nights for camp?
Yes. These have not been released yet.  DWELL sets up the themes and we will announce as soon as we are told.

Will you send out a packing list?
Yes. The packing list will be given out to students.

Is there a parent meeting?
Yes. Students and their parent(s) will need to attend our camp information meeting. Watch for the date to be announced in the Spring.
